Updates to seasoned YCC grantees on financial grants management will be provided. The Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) as well as DOL’s exceptions at 2 CFR Part 2900 will be discussed.

Additional discussion topics include: changes to the ETA 9130 Financial Report which will be rolled out shortly; internal controls and how to establish an effective control environment; basic standards for personnel compensation; general principles of proper cash management; sound practices when purchasing and contracting; a basic understanding of indirect cost rates and cost allocation; how to value and record match; single audits; and grant closeout.
